Our History

A family legacy and a love for coffee, grown with sustainability and passion.

At Café Don Victor, we are a family business with over 14 years dedicated to producing specialty coffee. Although our journey in coffee cultivation goes back more than a decade, it was three years ago (in 2021) when we decided to take the next step and start processing our own coffee, aiming to offer an authentic experience in every cup.

 

Our farm is located in the heart of San Pedro de Tarrazú, over 1800 meters above sea level. This privileged land, with its exceptional altitude and climate conditions, allows us to produce one of the highest quality coffees in the world. Here, within our farm, we have managed to blend respect for tradition with the best coffee production practices.

 

The dream of Café Don Victor began a few years ago with the idea of better understanding what we produce and how to give true value to our coffee. This is how the initiative to take our farm to the next level emerged, not only growing high-quality coffee but also processing it, with the goal of offering a unique product that reflects our passion and dedication.

 

 

In addition to our productive work, at Café Don Victor, we work hand-in-hand with the environment, always committed to sustainability. We are involved in programs such as NAMA Café and Rainforest Alliance, and since 2022, we have been awarded the Blue Flag, a recognition that strengthens our commitment to caring for the planet.

 

In 2022, we launched the PUR "Our Footprint" project, through which we planted around 200 trees, implementing agroforestry cultivation on our farm. This initiative not only seeks to preserve the natural environment but also reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

 

At Café Don Victor, we are deeply proud to produce specialty coffee with a holistic approach, which includes not only the quality of our product but also our commitment to the environment and future generations. Every bean we grow reflects years of history, effort, and passion for coffee, a product that goes beyond just a drink, becoming a symbol of our dedication to excellence.
